from 27th - 28th September 1997The first meeting took place on Saturday and Sunday and exceeded already expectations of the organizers.
They expected 1.000 visitors however it came over 3.000 and of it alone already over 1.000 Bikes.
But first the journey:
We (my buddy Reinhard and I) had already made us on Friday on the way. The weather God was been correct us benevolently and we reached the castle expectationful after approximately 8 hours starts. Not yet very many Biker were present, so that the first establishment of contact and the first new friendships in informal small round could be carried out.
The Saturday morning was used of some to explore the area. We decided the city Augsburg. Our 5 Trudi's were deactivated according to rank directly in the input of the pedestrian precinct and led to one accumulate at interested pedestrians.
These were surprised by the technical plaything one our new acquaintance, who could start its Trudi by remote maintenance. We had our fun to observe during the benefit of ice and various coffee specialities, the native ones how they looked for the hidden camera, if suddenly a Trudi let its probably-sounding sounds.
Here also a new community was born, which I called later than the "Mad Mac's".
A moved idea was put by Obba and HaPe into practice, a bag of full doughnuts (a kind of cake fill with jam) and additionally a glass with inserted herrings procured...
After our return to the meeting place the "Mad Mac" was created: take a doughnut, cut him open and put a herring between them....
The faces of the eating and particularly those the spectator are water-driving (before laughter)...
On Saturday the idyllic Campground in the castle park, filled very well under apple trees and by old beeches and oaks.
There were also a whole set of dealers and Intruder customizing specialists locally.
The castle threshing floor was full on Saturday evening for bursting, so that all did not clean-fit the Midnightshow at all. This was initiated with a Fashion Show and terminated by a pair of step dance masters. For the large surprise of all guests, had expected nevertheless somewhat the more skin...; -) which was to be heard also clearly.
The high point of the evening was consisting the price for the best customizing Intruders, the one jury, of members of the two organizing clubs as well as further customizing specialists, which had selected in the afternoon in the Bike Show issued Trudi's. The winning Bikes were driven on stage and were allowed to let their sound hear.
The great surprise waited however on Sunday morning for the Bikers on the campground.
They were according to rank Bavarian waked:
Several trumpeters let a wake-up, which let tempt some so suddenly the Biker torn from the sleep to it to unchristian hour, these "disturber of the peace" with a hail from partially squash apples to "thank". The others had their fun to it, than the in such a way considered withdrew themselves behind the old trees protection-looking up, which continued to stimulate their musical ambition however still.
With sorrowful view we left the nice place at Sunday noon and arrived our dwelling in the late evening.
