Also this time there seems to have given a new record number of visitors. (However, the exact numbers do not lie to me partly yet before...) the organizers had already as a precaution the firm tent about 10 meters, on a capacity of 7000 guests extends. In Saturday evening this tent was filled in order to burst and it came not even more all purely.
This time my publicity campaign for this meeting was more successful and a lot of hundred leaflets as well as, this homepage, contributed not least to the fact that we got together this time a small convoy with 13 Intruders. Departure stay was Thursday again. We had furnished 5 meeting places where we met the separate Intruders.
The departure of the 1st meeting place (in Georgsmarienhütte) was around shortly after 9 a.m. Here Jens from Oldenburg already had almost 2 hours trip behind himself. For Reinhard H. and his brother Andreas the start from Ankum was a little bit shorter.
From now it was in fours to Steinhagen where we fetched Reinhard P. In the 3rd meeting place (highway entrance PB-castle new house) already waited Peter H., Meinolf H. and Volker N. completely impatiently. They could not wait for it apparent and had already arrived 2 hours before the arranged moment in the meeting place... *lol*
Volker S. who wanted to go only with us, can not escape the opportunity to have a look at the convoy from meanwhile 8 Truderos. He had decided to follow on Friday.
After a short tank stop in the service area Bühleck on the highway A44 it was farther to the meeting place 4 (service area Hasselberg highway A7). There we were already also expected longingly, because Peter P., as well as Carsten S. and Kai S. were too early in the meeting place. *rofl* (somehow were probably excited all so that they wanted to miss the convoy at any rate... *lol*).
Also here the Bikes and this time also the drivers were filled up. In spite of changing cloudiness we reached dry so against 3 o'clock p.m. the 5th meeting place where our both last drivers (Hans-Jürgen L. and Josef R.) already waited for us. Also an escort vehicle (Pickup) shut here what was used by some in order to reload of baggage.
We had created the half distance and confidently it was on the longest section of the trip. We created 154 kms up to autocourt Wörnitz also again with certainly partly cloudy however dry sky. There it was filled up for the last time and also the trip on country- and interstate streets was continued.
My 12 companions were not to be convinced here, however, any more as the fact that it goes on dry. The dark clouds from the south and southwest menaced with wet from above... Also they drew their active combinations what became to me then the calamity... *lol*. With my optimism only let, they drew in their combinations the rain formally and how every year it got me then in Feuchtwangen (=damp cheeks). (I believe that I form the next year the route so that we drive round Feuchtwangen (damp cheeks) so far as possible, the place pulls somehow wet in... *lol*)
The second leg of the journey ran in the hot and cold baths of the feelings, because it came rain and also sunshine (a little and not enough to dry my leather things again).
Then around 15 minutes past 8 p.m. we reached the castle and had to construct in the rain our tents. Only when all tents stood St. Peter had seeing and stopped the shower. (He could also have done early)
It had already arrived a whole row driver like us on Thursday and all were greeted by the Intruders Club Rehling in their clubhouse warmly.
Then on Friday morning and evening still other friends with other companions arrived. The Campground filled and in the evening mad mood was already in the firm tent. The band "No limit at all " and a Bodypainting demonstration, as well as the volume for it at midnight an extremely acrobatic Strip-show of a quite attractive beauty very (very much) built on property. (You can do to yourselves a picture if you see the pictures...)
On Saturday Campground was not sufficient intended already any more and so closely the tents have never stood. For some it was almost impossible to come with their Bike from the castle park.
We served our already traditional "Mad Mac's" again.
This time I had printed for our 5-th community and some friends T-shirts, so that many person present already fled, when they only saw us.
There was again many horrified and partly easily distorted faces of the spectators who observed our "banquet".
In the evening played again the " Robert's H Band" which is, meanwhile, a firm component and the Cultband of the Intrudermeeting and without which one of the biggest attractions would be absent. (I hope, this band was obliged durably...) From half past 8 p.m. to half past 2 a.m. cared this Band, stated from singer Hannes who pulled hanging the masses in his spell, for a never been there mood even singing and headfirst in a rope under the tent roof. Even on the last placees, with over 7000 Bikers of filled firm tent it held nobody more on his seat...
Near own songs and even some Bavarian hits, they played mainly fantastically presented cover versions of Deep Purple, Status Quo, Bloodhoundgang and ACDC to name only some. Particularly with "TNT" and "Highway to hell" ran ice-coldly the back down, because the singing of Hannes and his inimitable and acrobatic stage inserts let off many of the persons present with the hand about their eyes and itself ask whether them dreamed, or whether there possibly the rebirth of the legendary Leadsinger Bon Scott from ACDC is live on stage again...
As one of a lot of climaxes of their show, Hannes played the power saw song. Instead of a guitar he let a chain saw howl, so that some looked only surprised whether somebody has not gone with the Bike in the tent. Supports from the also magnificently put on and striking up Andi (basses), Hinti (drums), Fredi (Leadguitar) and Jackl (guitar) began to saw Hannes even parts from the stage ground...
At a short stop of the bands playing there was the Bikehonour for the most beautiful Intruders and the cups for the biggest clubs and longest trip to the event (feminine and male participants).
The winners of the Bikeshow which took place in the afternoon and where this time (happy proofs and to be fair) again a jury carried out the appreciation, were:
1st place: Robert M. from Munich with a green VS 1400
2nd place: Hans-Jürgen Lang with his green LMC-VS1400
3rd place: Reinhard ?. with a 1500th Trude.
The special price of the jury got Michael "Obba" S. with his green VS 1400 with hand circuit.
This time, unfortunately, the winningbikes on the stage could not go, so that highest the tenth of the persons present these mad altered could see with purely and driven from the firm tent *sorry*. Also it was to be done impossibly a photo of the Bikes, because it was too close! (Here the organizers, nevertheless, again should a ramp or little bit comparable (forklift truck?, hydraulic ramp?) started around this Act better to present!!!)
In the category longest trip to event, got with the female bikers, how already during the last years a girl from Hamburg the first price and with the bikers this time a driver from Belgium.
With the biggest clubs covered the " Intruder team Nürnberg " with 94 bikes 1st, the "VS TRUDE IG 97 " with 38 bikes 2nd and the "Intruder Company Frankenwald" with 23 Bikes the 3rd place.
Then the midnight show was a real surprise! At 12 o'clock p.m. it was tightly packed before the stage. This changed briefly, when this time a man's trip was announced. Quickly the public changed before the stage and the female bikers the best space managed to grab... These were inspired very much what also was to be heard loud... *lol*
The Sunday morning began as well as during the previous years with a terrible-beautiful alarm-noise and how the last year with big alphorns... Limited itself this time to a little bit subdued and quiet sounds.
The Sunday morning was again to receive something else after a varied breakfast (who had the luck! Unfortunately, the coffee had gone out as first!) filled out with stacks. About afternoon we did to ourselves on the way back this time also again a little drizzle gave. However, from Wörnitz the rest of the trip ran with dry weather.
Result:
It was one more time a successful and mad meeting! With a lot of new Confesses and friendship.
For the improvement the following suggestions:
1. With the Bikeprämierung the Bikes, please, again on the stage! (With it they can be admired again by all)
2. For all sufficient and temporally longer breakfast (we are lived already the quite long snakes, but if one waits long, one should also receive something else)!
3. A lighting of the Campgroundes (e.g., some lamps in the trees) at least on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from 8 to 12 o'clock p.m. (with it one can construct his tent) also with late arrival.
Last words:
At this point once more a warm thankyou and a giant praise to all which have joined to our convoy. To her became top, all overtaking manoeuvres cluck etc extremely well and without one got lost or ran into danger.
Even now, anyhow, I am glad on 5th Intrudermeeting where we will hopefully see again all healthily and lively .
PS: Thanks also to my wife Viola for the big christmas present that has brought in me and also so many pictures. (It only 3 photos were blurred... And I could not decide with almost 140 pictures which I leave out... *lol*)
